Kirsty Sim is a South Korean photographer and visual artist currently based in London. Educated in Fine Art Photography at the Royal College of Art, her work operates at the intersection of fashion, fine art, and conceptual storytelling. Kirsty's practice deeply explores themes of human desire, fantasy, and constructed identity, frequently addressing subjects such as idolatry, celestial longing, and the boundaries between reality and imagination.

Through meticulous composition and an evocative visual style marked by poetic abstraction, Kirsty encourages viewers to reflect on human yearning and the powerful influence of idealised narratives. Drawing inspiration from celestial imagery, fandom culture, and humanity's innate tendency toward myth-making, she employs a distinctive photographic approach that fluidly navigates between realism and abstraction.

Kirsty’s work has been featured in various fashion and art publications, and she actively collaborates on editorial and commercial projects across London and Paris. Her ongoing artistic journey seeks to continuously explore and challenge contemporary notions of identity and representation through the transformative power of visual storytelling.
